Desperate for job

Something is really wrong with Blogger...

Liu Bing rejected my offer...*sob sob*
I tried out another recruitment offer....hope i can get it...
anyway, i think it is pretty difficult for the employers to employ me, since i'm having my stupid special sem..
well, please pray for me that I'll get it this time....

There will be quiz next week for this module...so fast...
exams just over, and quiz is coming...OMG!
anyway, i hope i can pass for this module..it's interesting..really...I love to watch the video, and reading the book that we are supposed to buy...I learnt alot from this module lar..
haha...hope it will not be too difficult...i just wanna have an enjoyable holiday... :)

alright, I have nothing much to jot down...
have been busy helping my dad out with his work...yar, carrying goods and training my muscles k..haha..just feel happy when i am able to help out, and lessen my parents' loads, in a way or another. They feel happy when I help them too. Yup, so I will continue to help them until I find a job. :)

shall go bathe now... *smelly smelly*


ps: i feel very sad...so many unfortunate events happened around me...really pray hard that 二舅 will be fine...hope he can see again...*praying hard*

NY 30th Anniversary & random

Saturday
I almost decided not to attend, coz my friends can only reach there at 5.30pm...
then, boi called me to go there and accompany him as the guest-of-honour will only come at 5pm...so, i went...
I really hate taking bus 133...it takes forever to come...nvm, shall not elaborate on the travelling part.

So, i reached there...there was so many people, and it's quite hard for me to find boi...actually it's easy, only I can't find..haha...
saw Waifu, angie and Darwin (boi's ex-classmates)...they told me where boi was, and i finally saw him...the sound system area...under the stairs..haha..how would i see?
ok, then hy reached early, so at least I got a company...haha...then saw marie, cy and linah..
bought a pair of bears wearing NY uniform, a male and a female..hehe...they will deliver to me in June...the bears are lovely..
oh, we saw Mr Tan (our physics tutor), still the same, and he said the 3 of us still stick together...haha...
then we saw Mr Lee (our chem tutor)...as usual, his jokes that we'll never understand...he told us that the only two buildings that were not demolished are the R block and the old library...but you wun know that they were old blocks, coz everything has changed...there is even a squash court at R block k...haha...
the labs were much much nicer than those we had in the past...*pout*
there is only one thing that never change, the container classroom...haha...coz there are not enough classrooms for the students, so some students still study in container classrooms...but new ones..

each of us has one goodie bag, which contains a CD-rom and a book of wishes contributed by all ex- and current NYJCians...boi's face was inside too, coz he wrote something inside..haha..then realised that boi's business friends were also from NY through the book...these are wonderful memories...
i left the compound at about 8pm, where everything ends...coz i need to wait for boi..hehe..
we then travelled to hougang for dinner before heading to his house to watch tv..sounds weird...

Sunday
met boi at 11am lidat and started to get the necessities..
we parked at Paradiz Centre, and we went Parkmall for lunch before we started walking to PS to get boi new working apparels..
then, we had fruit juices while we continued to walk to Ngee Ann City..as usual, I had Carrot & Celery, while boi had Green Apple...and he was complaining that his green apple juice had celery taste...lolz~
he isn't the first one who complain everytime I drink such juice..lalala..
At Ngee Ann City, we went Kino to look at books, and boi bought his favourite mag, Fortune..
then, we went Best Denki to get my mum's steamboat...we couldn't have time to shop, and we had to head back to Paradiz Centre to get rid of the heavy appliance..poor boi, he was the one carrying it throughout the walking journey..but he never even moan..hehe... *give him a hug*
we then travelled back to his house, coz he didn't know where to go..
nothing much to say for the rest of the day...I got a hello kitty pen from his sister..hehe...yup, that's all..


back to study...

A happy weekend.

Oh, yesterday was yanxin's birthday...and it was boi's grandma's birthday too...

just let me jot down what I did yesterday....
I went to NTU to meet up with Prof Chen to listen to his briefing on the FYP projects....
went there with Jiehui and Hwee Yun...
Prof Chen treated us drinks to make ourselves feel comfortable...not bad rite?
the projects are quite interesting..haha..his projects are mainly to enhance on the current materials used to prevent pollution, synthesize a new source to replace fossil fuel, and semiconductor devices...and I've already given him my name for one of the projects. SO, does that means that I finally settled my FYP??

I wanted Joachim, my mentor, too...coz his projects are really interesting, and he don't need any students with bio background...but he got far too many students on his waiting list le...*pout* His projects are mainly on the biodegradable drug-eluting coronary heart stents, effects of micron-sized debris from hip-replacement implants on bone resorption, etc...mainly on biomaterials....very interesting rite...

well, well....

after the briefing, I travelled to Bugis to meet up with boi...he is supposed to fetch me from NTU, but he was caught in a traffic jam...no choice lor..

We got a 3D card for Yanxin's birthday...really interesting...it's a washing machine...haha..

Alright, she got a new handphone for her birthday...FREE one...coz yesterday was M1's dunno how many years birthday, and they were giving out 10,000 free 3G phones for new subscribers...so, to cheer her up and make her study well, my mum decided to get her one...haha...

After boi and I bought the card, we went back to his home...
It's their family tradition to have the family memberst to eat eggs during birthdays..
I ate one...hehe...
after boi's cousins came, we sang a birthday song to his grandma and took some photos..hehe...not in my camera though.. she is 84 this year...

then, we travelled to a restaurant near YCK mrt station for dinner...food quite ok lar, place is rather old, and price quite ok..haha..
nothing much after that...


boi is coming later..hehe...
better go bathe now..dun wanna make him wait too long...we are supposed to watch Mr. Bean today, coz boi wanted...hope it's nice...it's been so long since i watch a movie..though i have no craving for movies, hmmm.....nvm lar...

ok, end here..more online lectures coming up..sigh...

Is there some problem with the NIE system?

I realise that some teachers that came out from NIE are really not up to standard, not in terms of their knowledge, but in terms of their characters, their way of handling things, etc.
Heard from many incidents that prove statement right.

1st case:
There is this NIE graduate who loves to take advantage of the female teachers in the particular school. What a joke! I suggest that before these NIE graduates come out, they should go through a series of personality tests, interviews, etc, before they can come out to be a teacher. COZ I believe that a teacher should have both, IQ and EQ.

2nd case:
some senior teachers do not know how to handle things/situations well. I don't know if they come school to 混日子 and get their salary or what. They simply throw all the work to the students when they are the teachers-in-charge, when the students are only a Secondary school student. what's worse is, there is this particular teacher who is a teacher-in-charge of a CCA heard the so-called news that speak badly about that student who did so much for the CCA, and scolded that student without even hearing his/her explanation. In the first place, it's the teacher's job to do most of the work, and the student is already doing it for her without even saying a word, and yet, she scolded the student saying that she did not do anything, just because she heard the news from somewhere...*clap clap clap*
if this is really what an educator is supposed to do, is there still hope for our educational system?Does she know how hurting her WORDS can be even if they weren't vulgarities?
DID she even thought of the consequences after the scolding?
the student was very hurt by her words, and the cheerful character is lost because of this teacher.

I may not be as smart as those teachers out there, but since I am able to judge things from my eyes, why can't those teachers, who are WISER. EVERYTHING THAT YOU SAY, EVERY ACTION THAT YOU DO, WILL AFFECT A CHILD'S EMOTION, UPBRINGING, ETC. Shouldn't they know that since day one?

case 3:
Teachers look down on the relieve teachers.... *sarcastic smile*
I have heard of this, teachers calling students to go out of the class for submission of work when there is a lesson actually going on, taught by a relieve teacher. Doesn't that teacher know the word RESPECT? So what if you are a full-time teacher, and the other is a relieve teacher? You don't have the right to summon almost the whole class out when a lesson is actually going on.

Some teachers treat other teachers in a friendly manner, but treating the relieve teachers as if they are transparent, and the word "MANNERS" comes in. What's wrong with giving a friendly smile to the relieve teachers? will that make you lose something? your pride? It's not some isolated cases, but it's really everytime. Well, maybe it's due to poor upbringing.


of course there are more cases that it will be tiring to mention...
I'm just worried about the education system if they are to be handled by these type of quality...
Perhaps they should set up a department for Quality Control too...haha...

travelling to school

observations were made while travelling to school. here is the list of scenes when people like me would feel irritated....haha...you may think that i'm really bored, "why got such free time to observe people?"
eh, well....

people who take up two seats when they only need one...this is an obvious and common scene seen in any mrt or bus..

people who hog at the end of the escalator, trying to figure which way to go....it causes a jam at the escalator, or even poses a danger to the people who are still on the escalator...it is especially so when it is already so congested at the MRT station..

people who like to stroll side-by-side and block the whole passageway...ahem, it's very inconsiderate lor...you there chat your way thru, and the rest are trying ways to overtake you and failed..and you people like to do it when others are rushing for time...*shake head*

people who puff their way through while walking...i've mentioned this before. Smokers!!!! people behind you are suffering from the stinky smell of your cigarettes...

yar, pon today's lessons again...
just got reprimanded by francis on msn...haha...juz joking lar..
tomorrow's bbq is cancelled all because of HIM -- FRANCIS YEO!!
can't stand him...
he himself organised the meet up, and he is the one who say he can't go...

feel like strangling him...

but he is a good friend lar...
willing to teach me things when i dunno...haha...though till now i still haven ask him anything, coz all the things i still can handle.. :)

he is troubled yesterday nite, as there is some problems he faced regarding the venue booking...
yar, lousy people...supposed to book it for him since dunno-how-many-weeks ago, and yesterday told him that he forgot! and the worst thing is, it is booked by someone else le...

so now, poor boi will have to think of another venue...hope the client isn't so fussy lar...

yanning's job as a relieve teacher wasn't really that good...
yar,just imagine having a class like those featured in I NOT STUPID 2...terrible..
they just give up on themselves, coz they are LOOKED DOWN by their teachers...
of cuz, not by my sister and her friend...
my sister wrote to them a letter and told them how she felt and how much they hurt the two relieve teachers who used to have hope on them...
then, they realised it...and they wrote a letter and read it aloud in my sis's and friend's lessons...
they apologised...
i read the letter personally...
well, it's quite demoralising to be ostracised by the teachers, 烂苹果, like what the others said..
so they have the mentality that they are just a bunch of hopeless souls, and continued to have such attitude..
how lousy would they be when they came to this school with an aggregate of at least 240, rite?

first day of school

First day of school and i'm already sian half...
i just can't get my mood adjusted...*sob sob*...i need to change my mindset...

reached school at about 9plus to queue for my notes...
saw Darryl (Chan Bros) in LWN library...i almost can't recognise him, and i think he too...aiya, as usual, i never say hi to him...
then, i went to MSE computer lab to collect my contact-less access card...
guess wad? i saw wang jie(FYP student)!!!! hahaha...
so qiao...

had my lectures at LT 6....what's best is cy is late!!!! first day, first lecture, and she is late...haiz~
the lectures were boring...nothing much has taught...screen so dim, how to see???
cy and i were discussing where we wanna have our lunch and are we going to pon the last lecture.....first day, and we already have such mentality...not good...*shake head*
got such 损友 is really....dunno how to say...
anyway, got online lectures...so i find it totally stupid to go school...
after the lectures, i saw jun heng (FYP student) and wangjie (again)...they called for me dis time...haha....feel like in Brady lidat...
oh, of course i saw francis...
he acted very guai k...can't stand it...hahaha...

cy and i went JP to eat lunch...
then we travelled to vivocity to get boi's present.
walked alot alot trying to find the knitted vest that he want...saw one from GAP, but when we reached there....the person said SOLD OUT!!!
*depressed*
we walked to other shops to look for any possibility, but to no avail...
so we decided to give up that idea...
and i bought a whole set of Vichy stuff for him....

really hope those stuff (that i actually craved...oopz~) will help to improve his terrible complexion lar..haha...
tomorrow will be his bdae...hmm....can't wait!!!


had a fruitful weekend last week....
Saturday
meet up with the three ladies for lunch...
saw a Project Superstar contestant, Nat, at Swensen (not a good place for food)...
then, we went for pooling at marina square...my skill cannot make it lar...haha...
we ended like about 5pm before we went to buy ice cream...
along the way to bras basah, i saw Charm, Koon Kiat & Jane, and marie...
meet up with boi & kian at bras basah and bid farewell with the gals...
we then went to 天天火锅 for dinner...what the hell lor..
last time 2 ppl, say have to wait very long...3 ppl, say got seats, aircon somemore...
ok lar, very filling...
went to search for wireless router & acc kian to buy his working clothes..
haven't buy my wireless router yet...need to go see more places then decide..

Sunday
everytime i organise my time properly, someone will spoil it...hmph..
after finished my work & get myself changed, i walked to bugis...coz i told boi the day before that he can cut his hair at 11am and i meet him at 12pm..
guess wat, i happened to see the yellow kangoo with the same plate number on the road while i was walking...yar, it's him, obviously..
still dare to smile when he was late..
so i have to wait for him to finish his haircut lor...and waste time...haiz~ haha...just joking...
we went to search for jeans...never buy, coz we set our targets...."must lose 5kg this year..." the earlier the better, coz i can get my jeans...haha...
we went to boi's house after that, coz his mum cooked...
reached there to find out that his relatives were there too...hehe..
then his bro started to give lectures lar...
can't stand him at times...but he is of good intention...

ended my day well, but not very happy coz i need to go school the next day...sigh~
