I tried out another recruitment offer....hope i can get it...
anyway, i think it is pretty difficult for the employers to employ me, since i'm having my stupid special sem..
well, please pray for me that I'll get it this time....

There will be quiz next week for this module...so fast...
exams just over, and quiz is coming...OMG!
anyway, i hope i can pass for this module..it's interesting..really...I love to watch the video, and reading the book that we are supposed to buy...I learnt alot from this module lar..
haha...hope it will not be too difficult...i just wanna have an enjoyable holiday... :)

alright, I have nothing much to jot down...
have been busy helping my dad out with his work...yar, carrying goods and training my muscles k..haha..just feel happy when i am able to help out, and lessen my parents' loads, in a way or another. They feel happy when I help them too. Yup, so I will continue to help them until I find a job. :)

there is this question on steps for Creative thinking...i almost wanted to write down "to answer this question, it stimulates my creative thinking skills."
yar, i just think of possible answers that were applied to my daily life and wrote them down...
think the marker will say,"a whole lot of rubbish..." with crosses all over...

brief description on the module:
This course provides an introduction to the scientific study of human languages. This is also referred to as Linguistics. The course answers fundamental questions such as these: How does language work? How does language shape our thoughts and behaviour? Do men and women speak differently? Can language be used to solve crimes? The study of human language is divided into several areas which include language sounds and patterns, the relationship between words, sentence structure and word meaning. This linguistic knowledge is then applied in various disciplines ranging from psychology and sociology to education and computer science.

coz the free pouch given by creative is really lousy...the material is not good, it comes off easily and dirty my zen...and the pouch is white...so it is dirty by now...haha...
I'll wash it and use it for something else....lalala..
I'm spending my money wisely nowadays...only on what is necessary..am I? well, it's up to you to gauge..

It's a frequently asked question by me, nowadays.
have the tendency to keep forgetting the dates..that's because i'm too preoccupied with my own stuff...haha..
just realised that this friday is Good Friday...no wonder boi asked me if i could accompany him for a hair cut this friday..I was thinking not realising that it's a public holiday, "If i'm gonna wait for you to finish ur haircut, then wat time will i be having my dinner?" And now, *grin* I know why...haha...
should i go get my fringe cut?
I'm sort of addicted to short fringe after the previous haircut..and now, it has grown long, and is irritating my eyes..
so, should I????

Online lectures....one after the other....
OMG, i can't believe that i've been watching a long series of lectures on my computer...
some lectures are really boring, some are info-overloading, some are just interesting...
ok, I still have a lot to go through, and I still have to study for my quizes and exams..so busy!!!
and I committed a sin....I sneaked out of my study table and went out for a movie yesterday....TMNT!
it's nice...not like what many have commented. Perhaps it's because the turtles only fight once together, and that doesn't satisfy them...haha...but i think it's more meaningful and interesting than Mr. Bean's holiday. BUT, some people don't think so...hor, boi!
and I love watching Channel 5 in the morning...the extreme makeover: home edition...the Debbie Travis Facelift. Typically all the interior designing..haha..my favourite!!
How I wish I can have them to design my house....hmmm.... *daydreaming*

I'm hungry now...argghh~
bad, my mind keeps thinking about food...oh no..
coz my dinner is quite pathetic, and looking at my grandma's cook...i would rather not eat...
It's not that I'm picky on food, it's that the layer of oil that you see on the soup, the glossy appearance of the vegie, the fried fish without seasoning...all so oily...I would rather starve than eat those stuff to clog my veins/arteries...my health is more important.

that will really shut down my conversation with him...

Oh, yesterday was yanxin's birthday...and it was boi's grandma's birthday too...

just let me jot down what I did yesterday....
I went to NTU to meet up with Prof Chen to listen to his briefing on the FYP projects....
went there with Jiehui and Hwee Yun...
Prof Chen treated us drinks to make ourselves feel comfortable...not bad rite?
the projects are quite interesting..haha..his projects are mainly to enhance on the current materials used to prevent pollution, synthesize a new source to replace fossil fuel, and semiconductor devices...and I've already given him my name for one of the projects. SO, does that means that I finally settled my FYP??

I wanted Joachim, my mentor, too...coz his projects are really interesting, and he don't need any students with bio background...but he got far too many students on his waiting list le...*pout* His projects are mainly on the biodegradable drug-eluting coronary heart stents, effects of micron-sized debris from hip-replacement implants on bone resorption, etc...mainly on biomaterials....very interesting rite...

well, well....

after the briefing, I travelled to Bugis to meet up with boi...he is supposed to fetch me from NTU, but he was caught in a traffic jam...no choice lor..

We got a 3D card for Yanxin's birthday...really interesting...it's a washing machine...haha..

Alright, she got a new handphone for her birthday...FREE one...coz yesterday was M1's dunno how many years birthday, and they were giving out 10,000 free 3G phones for new subscribers...so, to cheer her up and make her study well, my mum decided to get her one...haha...

After boi and I bought the card, we went back to his home...
It's their family tradition to have the family memberst to eat eggs during birthdays..

then, we travelled to a restaurant near YCK mrt station for dinner...food quite ok lar, place is rather old, and price quite ok..haha..

better go bathe now..dun wanna make him wait too long...we are supposed to watch Mr. Bean today, coz boi wanted...hope it's nice...it's been so long since i watch a movie..though i have no craving for movies, hmmm.....nvm lar...

I'm getting the momentum of studying back, which i'm happy of. No more lagging please....

yesterday went out for dinner with boi.
met crazy salespersonnel at marina square....keep promoting their wedding packages...argghh...
i'm a student!!!! i've said endless times, but they just wanna drag us to the seats...luckily boi insisted that we are not interested. Scary. That dangerous zone where there are a stretch of shops that sell bridal gowns.

Discussed with hy and cy regarding the graduation trip. We all agreed with Taiwan!!!! yeah, haha. Abit too fast hor, I still haven't even start my FYP, and here we are talking about the trip. Let me count, it's like 1yr plus from now. Aren't we too efficient when it comes to stuff that doesn't relate to study??? hehe. I told them that I wanna go either Taiwan, Korea or Japan...Though I went Korea before, I missed that place a lot!!! really feel like going again...hmm, I need to save some countries to go with boi too. haha. boi said he wanna go Rome for honeymoon. Eh, I dunno lar. Dun really mind, coz i do not have anything in mind too. Wait! 太离谱了..My thoughts drifted too far...haha...need to settle my immediate work first before i can day-dream till dunno where. Yup, get my thoughts organised. It's about STUDY, and STUDY only, now.

Saw ex-02S3A classmates....Sing Phang and Zi Feng today..haha...i totally can't recognise Sing Phang. He is different lar, thank god that he called my name, if not, he may think that i'm "dao"..haha..Then that Zhaohong, my proj-mate, hit my head with his stupid balloon (the balloon is gotten from somewhere in NTU lar)...asked me to go get balloon, for what? then said so loudly that I ponned MS3002 lecture, trying to announce to the whole world k...!##$%@^&!*....he is really idiotic lar. But he added fun to our sian sian group..haha. ok, one good point about our group, all very extremely efficient, Huijing, our leader, is very hardworking. Did most of the work. Yeh Lih, an ABP (accelerated bachelor programme) student, very smart and analytical. Yong Yuan, eh...dunno what to say about him, other than he always say things that confuses all of us..haha...but he is nice. Zhao Hong, the noisy one, very smart too..and very efficient, but lotsa nonsense lar. See, that's my group...We all have one thing in common, our SURNAME...hehe..the Lim Family lor... lolz~

In the afternoon, i went Watsons to get Berocca, something that will increase your performance with work. I think I desperately need one. I want my brain to be 100% alert, and it is good for health too. hehe. I'll try from tomorrow morning onwards. If it's effective, I'll recommend to you guys. :)



just now i managed to get some time sitting down at my comp and printed out the FYP stuff and looked at the profs' profiles and researches. Selected a few profs, hopefully I'm able to get either one of them. With my lousy result, it's quite hard, i know. No matter what, i'll have to give it a try still.

I decided to drag boi for a scalp treatment with me..hehe..I'm treating him at Sandstorm by Monsoon ba..coz our scalps are all very jialat type..should we go tomorrow???

Head growing BIG!

went to school early in the morning at about 10plus to do my MS3002 report...sigh~
hopefully no errors for the graphs lar...
den dun nid to go back sch to snatch the MSE comp lab's computers...haha...
the rest will be the analysis and typing...

I went to the Cafe Alfresco for lunch...also dunno why....
the food today wasn't very nice, maybe because it's during term break, the food happened to be quite cold.
after lunch, i walked all the way to hall 4/5's bus stop to take bus...then along the way, it just rained very heavily, until i found a shelter...yesh, it stopped raining when i found a shelter!!!!! fine, i'm used to it.

Travelled to JP to wait for the rest of my project mates to discuss the never-ending projects at Mac cafe...MS3030 followed by MS3005...arrrgghhh...
my brain just went blank in-between the meetings....stoning all the way...
Zhao Hong still took out a piece of Toto's paper and asked us for birth dates...wah, win le..
the whole meetings ended at about 5pm lidat..
was super tired then..

on the MRT, a very fat uncle happened to sit on my left, reading newspaper....it's already so squeezy, and he was still reading newspaper...WTH.
so you can imagine, the hand movement of his, and that newspaper, sure irritated me in some ways...
then, a lady, pretty slim, was sitting on my right...i was ok with her sitting beside me, coz it gives me more space to move slightly to the right....
but, she slept...and her head kept swinging left and right...
i really scared that her head might just land on my shoulder somehow...
thank god she doesn't...
so throughout the journey was full of squeezing and siam-ing...haha...
terrible...well, when you take a long journey on MRT, you are sure to see many stuffs...
quite entertaining though, but not when it happens on you, yourself...

busy life

trying to squeeze out some time for blogging...coz someone is complaining that i never blog...ok ok...

here it goes...

i'm really very busy with my studies now...
reading online lectures (to get a better idea of my modules), quizzes, essays, discussions, tutorials...bla bla...
so many things i have to complete within a short time...
thank god that my momentum is still with me...haha...so still have some time for breathing...but no time for relaxing..not even a time for a phone chat with boi...hahaha...yup, grumpy boi boi...always grumble and grumble non-stop...
the re-test yesterday is like no much difference....my grade still remain stagnant, but i've tried my best, so i have no regrets... *grin*

oh, i saw Jerly yesterday....yar, the Thom & Jerly twins....
he is still lidat lor...only fringe getting longer..haha...
i never greet him lar, coz scared that he forget who i am....hmm, shouldn't be the case ba, coz he was once my buddy leh...haha...and since Thom can recognise me...hmmm.....whatever lar, just never say hi lor..

happy to see many familiar faces in school....
it makes me feel that i'm somehow in touch with those long lost friends...haha...my stupid mentality...
anyway, hope everyone is doing fine.. :)

i'm quite comfortable with what i'm doing now...hopefully it will help me to pull through the rest of the years in Uni..

i wasn't really paying attention during lectures today...
coz i just can't concentrate...well, dun ask me why, coz i wanna know why too.

trying to digest what's magneto-electro-elastic composite is all about...
simply because my MS3005's project is doing on designing ferroelectric RAM...

i didn't even see it before...
my group-mates were all as blur as me lar...other than the ABP (accelerated bachelor prog.) student...he really smart..and that's why i feel very stressed..
haha...we were discussing what we had found, and listed out questions to ask our prof to realise that he wasn't in...think it's quite late to ask too...
then, we went over to MSE comp lab to email our prof...saw wangjie...he seems to be appearing there often...nvm, who cares..
zh (one of our group mates) was staring at my timetable (pasted on my file) for long and keep asking me questions...ok lar, trying to socialise...but not very nice when we just know each other, and he takes my file without my permission...hahaha...
actually we know each other since year one lar...same class....now den he realised...anyway, not important...
we stayed until 7pm lidat...

quite like my group mates...haha...
though they are rather serious, that leads to scary...hmm...

tomorrow is a long day....arggghhh...
well, as usual, i'll pon the last lecture...coz i can just read my own textbook lar...it's quite a lame module...

went to school early in the morning to attend my lecture and tutorials...
then, we accompany hy to get her black polo tee for tomorrow SHE's concert... :)
after that, we travelled to Cityhall to walk walk...
cy & hy were discussing whether we should go for some sports activities...hmm, i really dun mind...anything lor...but really want NTU arh? very far and paiseh..haha...i dun mind going for Kickboxing...should be interesting??
along the journey, an idiot smsed me, asked a whole lot of questions just want me to help him get two tickets for tomorrow's soccer match.....Singapore vs Malaysia...

it was raining very heavily then....so i told myself that if 6.30pm still rains, i will not go buy...
BUT, the weather is at his side k....it was still drizzling when i reach home, but, but it stopped at 6plus...so have to walk all the way to Jalan Besar Stadium just to get two tickets...
reached there to see a huge crowd of people...typically guys...to be specific, malay guys...uncles....dunno lar, just feel out of place there. Eyes were on me when i'm queueing...they must be wondering how come this gal will come here..yar, never buy such tickets before...
now then know that actually there is no seats to choose one...haha...sua ku..

because of such convenience, i'm given the privilage to not go to school..haha...

see, i'm very 乖 actually...but people often get it wrong that i'm a slacker...
haha..anything then, i can't be bothered about how PEOPLE see me lar..as long as i am comfortable with what i'm doing, i'm fine with it.

first day of school

First day of school and i'm already sian half...
i just can't get my mood adjusted...*sob sob*...i need to change my mindset...

reached school at about 9plus to queue for my notes...
saw Darryl (Chan Bros) in LWN library...i almost can't recognise him, and i think he too...aiya, as usual, i never say hi to him...
then, i went to MSE computer lab to collect my contact-less access card...
guess wad? i saw wang jie(FYP student)!!!! hahaha...
so qiao...

had my lectures at LT 6....what's best is cy is late!!!! first day, first lecture, and she is late...haiz~
the lectures were boring...nothing much has taught...screen so dim, how to see???
cy and i were discussing where we wanna have our lunch and are we going to pon the last lecture.....first day, and we already have such mentality...not good...*shake head*
got such 损友 is really....dunno how to say...
anyway, got online lectures...so i find it totally stupid to go school...
after the lectures, i saw jun heng (FYP student) and wangjie (again)...they called for me dis time...haha....feel like in Brady lidat...
oh, of course i saw francis...
he acted very guai k...can't stand it...hahaha...

cy and i went JP to eat lunch...
then we travelled to vivocity to get boi's present.
walked alot alot trying to find the knitted vest that he want...saw one from GAP, but when we reached there....the person said SOLD OUT!!!
*depressed*
we walked to other shops to look for any possibility, but to no avail...
so we decided to give up that idea...
and i bought a whole set of Vichy stuff for him....

really hope those stuff (that i actually craved...oopz~) will help to improve his terrible complexion lar..haha...
tomorrow will be his bdae...hmm....can't wait!!!

meet up with the three ladies for lunch...
saw a Project Superstar contestant, Nat, at Swensen (not a good place for food)...
then, we went for pooling at marina square...my skill cannot make it lar...haha...
we ended like about 5pm before we went to buy ice cream...
along the way to bras basah, i saw Charm, Koon Kiat & Jane, and marie...
meet up with boi & kian at bras basah and bid farewell with the gals...
we then went to 天天火锅 for dinner...what the hell lor..
last time 2 ppl, say have to wait very long...3 ppl, say got seats, aircon somemore...
ok lar, very filling...
went to search for wireless router & acc kian to buy his working clothes..
haven't buy my wireless router yet...need to go see more places then decide..

Sunday
everytime i organise my time properly, someone will spoil it...hmph..
after finished my work & get myself changed, i walked to bugis...coz i told boi the day before that he can cut his hair at 11am and i meet him at 12pm..
guess wat, i happened to see the yellow kangoo with the same plate number on the road while i was walking...yar, it's him, obviously..
still dare to smile when he was late..
so i have to wait for him to finish his haircut lor...and waste time...haiz~ haha...just joking...
we went to search for jeans...never buy, coz we set our targets...."must lose 5kg this year..." the earlier the better, coz i can get my jeans...haha...
we went to boi's house after that, coz his mum cooked...
reached there to find out that his relatives were there too...hehe..
then his bro started to give lectures lar...
can't stand him at times...but he is of good intention...

ended my day well, but not very happy coz i need to go school the next day...sigh~

two trips to NTU

i had my National Day spent going out with my family & boi to bugis to do last minute shopping for this coming sunday...then, boi & i met kian at Buona Vista in the evening..we had our XO fish slice noodles for dinner there before we headed to kian hostel (hall 9)...the food was quite delicious. however i dun really like the main dish -- the XO stuff...haha..ok, nvm..then, along the way to NTU, i saw Meifang..she rebonded her hair, but other than that, she still looks the same. ;)

Upon reaching hall 9, there was a series of stairs to climb..yup..tired, but still ok for me, eh, not ok for boi..haha..coz he is too FAT! oops~ the place is ok lar..not bad lor..quite windy..hehe..and boi almost fall asleep there k..lazy bum..nothing much happen on National Day, can't see any real fireworks, other than those on TV mobile..hehe..happy happy day. btw, boi, you must remember to get the cactus from me k...

as for today...i only work half day, coz i'm supposed to go back NTU to see my mentor..nothing much to say about the morning, other than Alex trying to act stupid..asked him to drive me to NTU because i'm going to be late due to him, he said he dun mind if i'm able to help him get a day off too..dotx..

went back NTU to meet up with hy & cy, coz it's MSE day...maybe i'm kinda late, all the goodies were taken..*sob sob* saw Jiaquan, but all of us can't recognise him, coz he has grown horizontally and it seems like it is also exponentially..haha..well, i dun like his long hair (quite long for guys)..makes him look so sloppy, unkempt, bla bla bla...terrible lar..but i dare not say..shhh...then, we had our lunch at the Cafe by the Quad..not very nice still leh...nvm..oh, i was cursing myself because i forgot to bring my school fee..haiz~ so i have to make another trip down this saturday, while boi will meet kian for the loan thingy..hopefully i wun forget..hmm...

oh, i saw quite a few familiar faces...saw Ken, my ny classmate. he is still so beng..haha..then i saw Kim Siang, boi's ny classmate..hehe..he asked me about boi..so thoughtful of him.. :) erm, yup..that's the more significant ones..

then, i went to look for my mentor, Dr. Joachim Loo . on my way to his office, i met a guy who has his left leg bandaged and was holding a crutch.He was wearing a orange polo tee, with a pair of bermudas. he looked like a student from NTU..i helped him to hold the door so as to let him into the staff office..and coincidentally, he was standing outside my mentor's room trying to do something, which i can't see..and when he turned around, he spoke,"Oh, hi. Are you looking for me? then, i went to JP for a walk, and decided to take bus 30 home..it was indeed a long long journey..but i enjoyed the scenery..hehe..dun mind taking again, if i got the time...that's about all for today..

i will be meeting the gals tomorrow..hmm, hopefully can get the seats, coz i dun have a backup plan..well, shall see how, then. it seems like the present isn't the main issue here, is the celebration, you know...the meet ups with people is the crucial factor, so i dun really mind what gifts i get..as long as it's not something wild or wad..haha...crap..ok well, looking forward for tomorrow to come...yup yup...

as for now, i shall go sweep floor before any nagging starts..
